Carnival Sweet Ravioli

  

   Ingredients

 

270 grams white flour
400 grams of ricotta cheese
125 grams caster sugar
2 eggs
3 cloves
ground cinnamon
peanut oil for frying.

 

   Preparation

 

How to make the Carnival Sweet Ravioli:


A unique bounty, tasty and simple. A typical delights of Sicily, the ancient origins and is born out of the kitchen from the poor peasant populations who occupied the Trinacria over the centuries.

Place the flour on a plane and break inside the eggs, cinnamon, 50 grams of sugar and 2 cloves powdered. Continue mixing and adding 2-3 tablespoons of warm water when necessary.

Make the dough smooth and homogeneous area, working a lot. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin, not too thin and cut into discs of 8 cm in diameter. Drain the ricotta, add another clove powder, another 50 grams of sugar and even cinnamon.

Mix the cream and the middle portions of the disks, then fold it in half to obtain crescents. Seal the edges well and pour the fravioli in hot oil, turning after 3-4 minutes of cooking.

Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
