Bondone
On the so-called "Alpe di Trento", in one of the region’s oldest ski
resorts, that witnessed the first official introduction of a lift facility in Trentino,
the renowned "slittone" by Giovanni Graffer, erected in the mid-1930s, this is virtually
a sort of town district uphill, a highly appreciated small but well equipped ski resort
at a quite small distance from the town.
Geography
Monte Bondone rises at only 500 meters from the "Trento Centro" A22
motorway exit. One is suddenly surrounded by an enchanting mountain environment, offering
majestic views over the region’s mountain ranges, from the Brenta to the Fassa Dolomites.
|
Snow offers
The resort welcomes skiers with 20 km slopes winding down Palon and Montesel
for both novice and expert skiers, served by 5 lift facilities, and totally equipped with a
high-pressure network of snow-making equipment.
Among the lifts, the Rocce Rosse 4-seat detachable chair lift, particularly stands out due
to its drop of 890 m, which is among the highest in Europe.
This chair lift provides service
to one of the most stunning slopes of the Alps, that is almost 4 km long.

25 minutes drive, boasting a choice of museums, an old town center, shopping streets and
night clubs.

Bondone are located at Candriai (1.000 m), Vaneze (1.300 m), Norge, (1.400 m) and Vason
