The winter season every skier would fancy and dream of can come true
at the Folgarida - Marilleva ski area in Val di Sole. Marilleva and Folgarida are a real
paradise for ski and snowboard enthusiasts. Great tourist establishments, furnished with
all comforts and with direct access to the slopes and many after ski entertainment options.
A ski area linked to Madonna di Campiglio, totalling 120 Km slopes set amongst the Brenta
Dolomites and the Ortles - Cevedale range. The other ski areas of the valley can be reached
with a short car drive or by the free Skibus link service.
24 lift facilities, with an overall hourly capacity of 33 thousand
people, are serving 30 ski slopes totalling 50 km, with a network of snow-making facilities
covering 90% of slopes. The slopes at Folgarida Marilleva are networked with those of the nearby Madonna di
Campiglio, allowing to enjoy a ski area set amongst an enchanting landscape overlooked
by the majestic peaks of the Brenta Dolomites.
After ski
Marilleva 1400 and Folgarida offer night ski facilities, Marilleva 900
boasts indoor tennis courts, while in the nearby Mezzana sports center there’s an
ice-skating rink. At Folgarida you will enjoy skating at the ice-skating arena and chose
amongst the evening entertainment events organized at the Congress center "Alla Sosta
dell’Imperatore" - housing conventions, exhibitions, sports and cultural events.
Folgarida lies at 1.3 thousand meters a.s.l. amongst the Val Meledrio
pine forests, along the road linking Val di Sole to Madonna di Campiglio.
Marilleva is split into two centers: Marilleva 1400 (starting point of lift facilities
going to Folgarida and Madonna di Campiglio) and Marilleva 900, located on the bottom
of the Valley opposite Mezzana.
Accommodation
Facilities and establishments in both resorts of Folgarida and Marilleva (totalling 18 thousand
accommodations) have been designed for top comfort and allow guests to leave their car
unused throughout their stay.
