Admist the Brenta Dolomites, The Adamello Massif, the Presanella Massif,
the Ortles-Cevedal Group, and the Maddalene Range, the Val di Sole
("Valley of the Sun") lies with its 50 summits over 3,000 meters high,
its glacier and ruddy promontories. The Val di Sole is truly a green
oasis in the northwest of Trentino, between Lake Garda and South Tyrol.
More than a third of the Val di Sole is under nature protection: the Stelvio
National Park in the north and the Adamello-Brenta Nature Park in the
south. A real pearl of the Alps, with countless options for hiking and
sports activities for every taste: from sports disciplines requiring a
high level of physical fitness, all the way to adrenaline-charged
activities like rafting, hydrospeed, canyoning, mountain climbing, etc.
But that's not everything! Val di Sole also features a well-distributed
network of hotels, camping sites, Alpine huts and vacation
apartments...every individual taste and style of vacationing is
satisfied. You can be sure of a really pleasant holiday, where every day
is a new day of discovery.
